Editor-in-chief of the journal "Economy of Tajikistan":
Sharif Rahimzoda (Tajik Шариф Раҳимзода, Pers. شریف رحیم زودا, English Sharif Rahimzoda) (born March 12, 1959 in the Moscow region of the Tajik SSR) is a Tajik statesman, diplomat.
Education
In 1981 he graduated from the Tajik State University (now the Tajik National University) with a degree in Finance and Credit. In 1986 he completed his postgraduate studies at the Moscow Financial Institute, and later, international banking and financial courses in Austria, Great Britain, Singapore, USA, Japan and Turkey.
Career
He began his career in 1981 as an assistant at the Department of Finance and Credit of the Finance and Economics Faculty of the Tajik State University. After completing his postgraduate studies and defending his Ph.D. thesis (1986), he worked at the aforementioned university as an assistant, senior lecturer, deputy dean of the faculty. In 1989 he moved to work in the banking system. Until 1993, he worked as the head of the department of the Tajik Republican Bank of the Zhilsotsbank of the USSR, the deputy manager of the Tajik branch of Vnesheconombank of the USSR, the vice-president of the Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

• 1993-2001 - First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
• 2001 - Chairman of the Committee for State Financial Control of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Work in the diplomatic field
• 2001-2006 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Belgium and France, Head of the Representation of the Republic of Tajikistan to Eurostructures, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCO and NATO.

• December 1, 2006 - January 26, 2008 - Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
• Since January 26, 2008 - Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
• From January 24, 2012 - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan
• From March 1, 2015 - Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economy and Finance
• From April 15, 2020 - Director of the Institute of Economics and Demography of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan
Honored Worker of Tajikistan. Has the diplomatic rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan. Doctor of Economics (2001), Professor (2013). He is married and has two children.
